It’s strange but overwhelming at the same time when a stranger prays for you. Isn’t it? I felt that way when I opened my old abandoned Facebook account and found this on my wall:
Upon reading the keywords: leave, hang, deny, break, and option, I knew in my heart these are not just words. These words enslaved me for so long. As a matter of fact, I encountered and suffered from them earlier this year. BUT …
My spiritual sisters prayed for my heart. Now, I am healed. Their prayers saved me from a lot more unnecessary pain.
I believe in the power of prayer. It can empower, heal, save, etc. No doubt, God listens to every prayer, even the unspoken ones. And whether it is from a loved one, friend, or a stranger, it works … it makes an impact. Just as what it did to me.

This stranger has been praying for me for over a year now. Here are his prayers:

“Please let her know that her choices do matter … so much in a way that one of the greatest decisions in this world will be hers to make.” Oh that. Wow.

I am amazed by people who pray for the benefit of others even if they don’t really know them (and what these people have been going through). I believe their selfless faith has moved mountains. For this man, I don’t know how I can express my gratitude to you but please do know that I am looking forward to meet you in Heaven … soon :)
Thanks and much love to everyone who prayed for my heart, who were there when I was struggling to know my worth, and those who constantly reminded me of God’s unfailing love when I was emotionally unstable. I am blessed to have all of you.
